It's the day after Thanksgiving - whew, what a party! This is a great day to be mellow.
My dad and I played with Samuel. He's a very good bear.
My dad likes to help me stand. I'm getting stronger!
My family went for a walk around Green Lake.

My First Thanksgiving
My family has much to be thankful for this year. We appreciate all the love and support that we have received throughout the year from our family and friends. Thank you!

Good Morning Song
My dad likes to sing his Good Morning Song to me in the morning. I like it especially because it's so multi-lingual!

My mama told me to enjoy this because it's the only motorcycle I will ever be allowed to ride.

Dropped Turtle
I was hanging out with Turtle and, well, dropped him. I actually drop him a lot. He doesn't seem to mind.

My dad at co-op preschool
My dad took the day off so he could go to Co-op preschool with me and my mama. First my dad and I visited Lighthouse. Then we all went to Co-op preschool - it was fun!
At Lighthouse, I took a nap while my dad read the paper.
Our homework was to make a poster for Co-op. My mama helped me with my project, and it came out so good! Thanks mama!
Here is a closer-up photo of the poster. Mom says she will get a better close-up next time we are at Co-op.
Our teacher Sarah read The Big Red Barn
My dad and I got tired, so we took a little rest.

Naming The Dude
My family and I went to a very fun event this morning - the naming of The Dude! Kaiam was born last week to his parents Ariella and Ian. I hope that we become very good friends.
It was a wonderful ceremony, with speeches and blessings bestowed upon Kaiam. A great party followed, with lots of people and food, and everyone was so happy. It was a great celebration.

Telling a Story
I was telling a little story earlier today. It was nothing important, but my dad took some video. I hope you enjoy my story!
A Boy and His Muskox
It's good to have a friend like my muskox Ovibus. Dad got him a few years ago in Alaska. He protects my head from hitting the posts in my changing table. He stands right there, quietly enduring jostling and bumping. He is always patient and he never complains. My dad says he is stoic.
You can see Ovibus on the job in this photo.
Here Ovibus has come out to say Hello. Or, well, he said something. He makes a sound like "Murrrumph", and sometimes I can't quite tell what he means. But that's okay, he's my pal so we don't need to talk much.

Rainy Saturday
Its really rainy here! But we're having a fun day. First we went to Lighthouse and met Seth, Anna, and Jackie there. Then Todd showed up. We were quite a crew! But my dad forgot the camera so we didn't get pictures.
Then we came home. Todd and my dad were working in the basement, so my mom took me up for a nap. After my nap, my dad took me for a nice walk in the rain.
