Home Again!

We're home! It's very good to be home. We had a great flight, and I decided not to be fussy. I even earned an unsolicited comment from another passenger, who told my mama that I did great.

Oh, and another first for me... I got my diaper changed in the restroom of the plane!

Tennessee Adventure, Part 6

It was a dark and stormy night. Suddenly, a shot rang out. Oh, but wait, that's only thunder. I had never heard thunder before!

It was stormy, but we were at GranTom and GranGlo's house, so that made it fun. We didn't expect to be here last night but it was good to have some more time here.

We don't know what's going to happen today, but we have tickets on an afternoon flight home. Wish us luck!

The best part of all this is that I got to spend more time with grandfolks. Here I am with GranGlo this morning.

Tennessee Adventure, Part 5

Wow, well, I didn't know what to expect for today, but my parents sure were surprised. My family waited at the airport for hours today, and finally gave up and went back to GranGlo and GranTom's house. Dad said it was something about plane problems plus weather problems.

But, before all that, I had a great morning with my grandfolks.

Tennessee Adventure, Part 4

Today was fun, except that the doctors say I have to take medicine - yuck! But it was a beautiful day in Tennessee, and I got to hang out with my family here.

My family put me in a high chair, but I didn't fit. So they shimmed Turtle in the back and Taggies in the front! It's good to have friends!

Tennessee Adventure, Part 3

Well, I have been running a fever, so my mama and dad took me a doctor here. She was really great, and the office was nice. Still, it's no fun going to the doc.

On a side-note, while I was at the doctor, I was weighed at 18 pounds, 4 ounces. That's 7 ounces more than last week!

The doctor said my illness is no big deal, just some virus, so now I am back at the Tennessee house with GranGlo and GranTom. It's great to visit here!

My family went to the Cool Springs Galleria, a fancy mall, to get me a cap.

Tennessee Adventure, Part 2

Our first day in Tennessee has been fun! I got to try some Southern food-my first grits! I think I prefer bananas.

I like to use the spoon myself.

Mama, Dad and I took a walk. We saw some horses, but they wouldn't hold still for a picture.

Tennessee Adventure, Part 1

My family is taking a trip to Nashville to visit GranGlo and GranTom. It was my first airplane ride. My mama and dad say that I'm a very good traveler.

Mama assures me and Turtle that everything will be OK.

I got to meet my new friend Mason today! Mason and his family came for a visit, and it was very good to meet him.

I wear my dad's tshirt when eating sometimes. It helps keep extraneous food off my own clothes. My mama said I need a full body bib.

Afterward, my dad and I walked home together. It was a nice, bright day out.

Everyone is wearing red and eating chocolate. Looks like a crazy day to me! GranGlo and GranTom sent me this really nice card for Valentine's Day!

Trip to Mazama!

My parents enjoy going out to Mazama in the winter. It's a little village in the mountains and our friend Steve organizes a trip every year. This was my first time, but mama and dad say they'll take me again.

They put me in this icy box and pulled me all around. It's crazy!


Dad liked pulling me around. He said it was a good workout for him.




I'm sure glad that I had my buddy, Turtle, to keep me company on this adventure.




My mom also took a turn pulling me-we just didn't get a photo of that.


I finally got to meet my buddy Galen. We have the same birthday!

My dad was unhappy with the way my birthday pictures came out. He said they are all blurry. He was grumpy about it, but he said this one would do for now. We will try again tomorrow.
