Grandpa John had to leave this morning. We had a little QT before he left. It was great to have you here for a visit, Grandpa John!

Lots to do
I had a great day today. We visited Elliott Bay Bookstore and had lunch with Carm and Todd. Shoot, no photos from lunch!
Breakfast, my favorite!
At Lighthouse, looking at the roaster with my dad. Always a highlight of my day.
At Elliott Bay Cafe and Bookstore
Heading to lunch. Carm gave this white bear to my dad, and he gave it to me. I really like it!

Saint Patrick's Day Parade!
Oh, okay, so that's what a parade is! I get it now!
My mom and dad took me to see Seattle's Saint Patrick's Day Parade. It was my first parade ever. My dad was afraid that the noise and crowds might scare me. Heck no! I loved it.
Here is one of the photo's that Carm took. My dad swiped it off her blog. Thanks Carm!
Apparently it rains at parades. A lot. It wasn't raining before the parade, and it stopped raining after. So somehow they make it rain just for the parade!
There were people carrying flags, playing instruments, waving, and giving out candy. There were funny people too. Dad said they were clowns. People were walking, riding in cars, and riding on motorcycles. There was even dogs in the parade - a lot of them!
My folks took pictures but they don't have them ready yet. Luckily, our friend Carmelita is ready with hers. To see her photos, visit her blog at Cozzie's Corner.

Just hanging out
I'm feeling a lot better-I think I'm back to normal. It was a nice day here in Seattle, so mama loaded me up in the baby rolling cart to take me and turtle on some errands.
I can sit up really well now!
I had sweet potatoes for lunch. As you can see, eating is a multi-sensory experience!
No more baby bucket means I ride in the cart facing forward. It's a whole new world. Mama says she misses looking down at me, though.
I took my hat off all by myself; well, Turtle helped.
I was really sleepy after a big day. Turtle also naps sometimes.

Me and My Mama at Lunch
I'm not feeling well today. It started yesterday. I woke up with a fever and I was all stuffy. My folks call that snorky. My mama took me to the doc (again!), but this time the doc said its a plain old cold. As much as I've been to the doctor, I've never had a cold before! Anyway, I'm okay, just a little under the weather.
I stayed home from daycare today, since I was still snorky, and my dad stayed home from work to watch me. We visited my mama at lunchtime at a restaurant near her work.

le seau de bébé est fini
My old baby bucket is gone. Done. Outta here. My parents are wistful about it, since it's the one in which I came home from the hospital.
My new car seat is installed now. My folks say it's for big boys, but I feel kind of small in there.
Turtle and I take one last ride in the old baby bucket
New car seat, here I come!
Uh, excuse me, comin' through
My mama asks Hows that?
