The Big Parade

This morning, my family went to the Lighthouse and my dad read The Big Parade. It was his book when he was little, and now he reads it to me. My dad's favorite character is Brownie Bear, however he admires Mike Moose's confidence.

Pondering the Pancake

My dad made pancakes this morning. I had never before had a pancake, so I had to pick it apart first and make sure it would be okay.

Waiting for my lunch

It was a wet Sunday! This afternoon it rained and rained and rained. It was a great day for napping. I got a big nap this morning when my dad took me for a long walk. Then, during the rain, I got another big nap.

Between the naps, I had a good lunch with my dad. He took my picture while making my lunch.

My mama and I met up with Beckett and his mom for a walk. We went to the park and played on the swings. It was my first time, and it was so fun! Yay!

Monday Monday

After such a good weekend, Mondays can be tough. But I made the best of it with two long naps at daycare.

The weather was great for checking the garden this morning.

Mother's Day

It's Mother's Day, the day we celebrate mamas. I like it! Happy Mother's Day to my mama, Grandma Barb, and GranGlo!

Mama, Dad and I went to music class today. It's called Kindermusik and it's just for babies.

Visit from Mason

Mason came over for a short visit today. It was great to see him.

Dad's Day Off

Dad took the day off of work to spend with me!

He likes breakfast at Pete's, a local diner, so we started our day there.


We went to Costco with my mama. This was my first trip to Costco. It's big!


I had some zwieback on the way home. Mama thought it was funny that I got it all over me.

My mama and I waited on the front porch for my dad to get home from work. When he did, he lifted me right up on his shoulders! We walked all around the yard. It was so fun!

Daycare

I go to daycare three days a week. On Mondays and Wednesdays I see my buddy Harry. I know Harry from PEPS.

My dad and I check the garden every evening, and most mornings too. Here we are this morning. I'm not sure what we're checking for exactly, but I do like to play in the dirt.

My mama put me in my new summer suit, since it's warming up real nice. Samuel decided to try on my overalls, but I think they are too big for him!

Visit from Todd

Todd visited tonight. He helped my dad baby-proof my room. We made pizza and played on the floor. Thanks for visiting Todd!

Fun Weekend

Yikes! I can't believe it's been over a week since our last post. Dad was out of town and mama has a cold, so we got a little behind. Today I was sick at day care, so mama picked me up and I got to spend the afternoon at Ballard High School-where she teachers History. Those big kids were funny!

My parents signed me up for music class and our first class was on Saturday. My PEPS buddy Sophia is also in that class.

My parents say that I have outgrown the kitchen sink tub. I've been upgraded to the big boy bath.

My New Ride

My folks got me a new ride! It's called a Bob stroller, and all the cool kids have them. Turtle and I think the ride is smooooth. Thanks folks!
