Getting ready for Christmas!

Grandpa John and Uncle Paul arrived today. Grandma Barb picked them up while I was napping at home with mama.

Uncle Paul and I compared stacking techniques.

We helped mama and Grandma make Christmas cookies.

He thinks he was scaring me-but it didn't work.

Grandma Barb gave me ice cream after dinner-yum!

Sitting with my mama.

I was helping take out the recycling.

Busy Saturday!

My dad left this morning to see GranTom and GranGlo in Nashville. He made us promise to keep the blog updated. So dad, here's our day.

I helped Grandma make cookies.

I was playing with my mama's gnome. I think I will help name him.

Sometimes I like to have my socks on my hands-I'm not sure why.

My mama gave me the best toy-the oatmeal box!

Not ready for bed!

My mama and dad said that it was time for little boys to go to sleep, but I'm not tired! I think they're the ones who need to go to bed.

Stayed home with Grandma Barb

I had to stay home from school today because I was ill. I feel better now except that I'm a little snorky; that is, all stuffed up. So I stayed home with my Grandma Barb. We had a great day together.

At Lighthouse this morning. Note the sneakers that Wendy and Todd gave me. They're cool!

We played a lot today. I found this ornament hat and put it on my head!

My mama took this picture of Grandma Barb feeding me chocolate ice cream. Ymmm!

First Word!

My folks heard my first word today. What was my first word? Drum roll please! Here it comes... wait for it... It's the word book! That's right, book. My dad said it must be the Boyer genes coming through, although GranGlo has always been a big fan of reading too.

Those of you that have been reading the blog all along will remember that my dad claimed my first word was homebrew. But this one is for sure.

UPDATE: Thursday: Today I said my second and third words! At breakfast I said milk, or at least a reasonable attempt at it, while reaching for my milk. And later I was visiting the Christmas tree with Grandma Barb and as we pointed at the ornament bears I said bear. Milk and bear!

Stacking with Dad

This evening, while waiting for our supper, my dad and I were stacking blocks. I love stacking with my dad.

Grandma Barb is here!

Grandma Barb is here. We are getting to know each other. Here I am sitting in her lap while she reads Pooh's Halloween Pumpkin. My GranGlo and GranTom got me that for Halloween.

More stackin'

I'm the stackin'est stacker that ever stacked a stack.

Funny hat

Today I was playing and I put this pink tub on my head. I was just being funny.

Breakfast with Sean and Jessie

We met Sean and Jessie at the pancake place for breakfast.

Sean and Hippo made me laugh.

I held still for this picture with mama and Jessie.

New window bench

My mama got us a new bench. We can sit and look out the front window or read books.

Here is my dad and me sitting on the new bench reading.

Carmelita visit!

My friend Carmelita came over today for hot cocoa. My mama made banana bread too. Yum! Thanks for visiting Carm!

Me and Carmelita

Hot cocoa party.

My dad had the idea that we would take my 17 month birthday picture while Carm was here, but I wasn't going to sit still for that. Forget about it Dad. But my dad is still hoping that Carm's pictures came out.

Big Can Stackin' Boy

I like stackin' things. Today I found a bag of canned goods that my mama gathered for a food drive. I got them out and started stackin'.

Ta da!

Ta da again!

Fish at Swansons Nursery

We went to Swanson's Nursery today. I wanted to see the fish and mama and dad wanted to see the plants.

I like visiting the fish.

My parents said they are called koi and they are very popular.

Here, fishy, fishy fish!
That's how you call fish.

We had a nice snack there-a fresh baked scone.

Christmas Tree

Yesterday my family got a Christmas Tree! It was cold but fun. Yay!

Here I am with my mama. The Christmas Tree is all decorated and ready for the season. I love it very much.

Here are some more photos from our Christmas Tree adventure.

My dad and I shopping for the tree.

Hey mister, we want this one please.

The man at the tree store took our picture in front of our tree.

After bringing the tree home, we warmed up with hot cocoa.

The first ornament we put on was the one I made at the Advent Fair. It has my picture!

My mama keeps the ornaments very organized.

Ah, all decorated. I like to just look at it. Well actually I like to touch it too. And pull on it a little.

Spinning the globe

Yesterday my dad asked to spin the globe so I did. I like it. Spinning the globe is fun.

Playing with blocks

I love the blocks! Thanks to Uncle Paul for letting me play with them.

More Hot Cocoa

Here is another hot cocoa video.

Drumming on the cookie tin

My mama and I were in the hardware store. She picked out a cookie tin and handed it to me. So I took Red Guy and just started bangin' away, right there in the store. Mama took a picture.

I like drumming in public.

Saturday morning playing

My dad took this video of me playing this morning.

Zoomasium video

We visited the Zoomasium again. Fun!

Peek a Boo

We went to the pancake place this morning. My dad put his hat on me and it covered my eyes. So we played Peek a Boo.

Where's Elliott?

There he is!

Red Guy Portrait

As you no doubt know, I am a fan of these colored pegs. There is Blue Guy, Green Guy, Yellow Guy, and of course, Red Guy. Here is a portrait of Red Guy.

He looks a little beat up, but he's better off than all the others!

Advent Fair at school

My school held an Advent Fair. There was singing and they told the Christmas story, then we had cookies, hot chocolate and made an ornament.

My dad helped me make an ornament.

It was busy at the ornament table!

More Walking

Well apparently Grandma Barb has demanded more walking video. Here is another little one.

p.s. Don't miss the new Hot Chocolate video posted under Saturday December 1. Alas, there is no walking in that one.

Traffic stop photo

We were stopped at a red light and my dad took this picture. You can see I have my puffer fish with me this morning. We went to Lighthouse then to school.

Beckett visit

Beckett visited and we played on the horse that GranGlo and GranTom gave me.

Beckett can really ride!

"That's a fine steed Elliott."
"Why, thank ya Beckett, I'm mighty proud of her."

Hot Chocolate

My dad and I like hot chocolate on a snowy day. My mama made a video.

Zoomazium!

We went to the Zoomazium at Woodland Park Zoo! It was fun.

My dad and I looked at the fishes.

Mama chased me through the log!

My friend Katerina was there.

She and I played together.

French Toast

My mama made french toast.
