Thanks to our friends at Swedish

My mom and dad and I extend a big Thank You to the people at Swedish. You all did such a great job. Much appreciated!

My mom especially appreciates all the great nurses in the anteparnum unit.

Thanks to everyone at the Infant Special Care Unit!

Bad News and Good News

Bad News: My parents gave me a bath this afternoon. That was not fun at all. I hope they never do that again!

Good News: Seth and Anna came for a visit. It was great to see them again. Hey folks!

I like Seth.

I think he likes me too!

My Saturday

Did some sleepin' today. And some eatin'. A little poopin'. So yeah, it was a full day for me.

Dad took this photo of me in my bassinet first thing this morning.

Being it was Saturday, Dad was off work all day. We got to hang out together.

I ended the day nursing from my mama. Nyum nyum nyum, dash sho good!

Visit from Jemae and Ray

I finally got to meet Jemae today. She's nice! Dad says Jemae and Ray are our crazy neighbors, but I think Dad might be the crazy one. Ray was here today too, but Dad neglected to get a photo of us together. Hmmm, I guess we'll have more chances.

Hi Jemae!

Breakfast nook

We like to have breakfast in the breakfast nook. I ate my breakfast first, then my folks put me in the boppy to hang out while mom eats breakfast.

Makin' cornbread

Last night I helped my dad make cornbread. I'm not big enough to eat cornbread, but I like to help anyway.

First visit to Lighthouse

Tuesday morning, my mom and dad took me to dad's favorite coffeeshop, Lighthouse Roasters. Dad has been going there for years, and my appearance made quite a stir as all the regulars wanted to meet me.

Babysling

Grandma Barb got me a babysling. Wow, mom and dad really like it. I like to ride along while they do whatever they do. I usually just fall asleep.

My dad carries me in the babysling

I like to snuggle way down in there. You can't even see me!

Naptime

Most of the time I sleep in my bassinet. But sometimes, every once in a while, my mama will let me join her in the grown-ups bed.

Dinner in the backyard

Last week it was really hot here in Seattle, so we had dinner in the backyard for several nights in a row.

I miss Grandma Barb!

On Monday night, Grandma Barb flew home to New York state. I'm sure she was glad to see Grandpa John, but I sure miss her. I look forward to their visit in September.

Presents from Aunt Jean and Uncle Rog

A couple days ago Grandma Barb helped me unwrap a box of presents from Aunt Jean and Uncle Rog. There were skin care stuff, receiving blankets, and more. Thank you!

Cool books from Gabriel!

Gabriel K sent me some cool books. Gabriel's dad, Jeremy, has been friends with my mama for a long time. Gabriel is a big boy, a year and a half! Anyway, thanks for the great books Gabriel, and to his folks Christine and Jeremy.

Todd and Wendy visit

Our friends Todd and Wendy came for a visit. Didn't get photos but we had a great time. They brought Thai food, but I stuck with my usual - mama's milk. Thanks for coming folks!

Visit from Aunt Barb and Uncle Bob!

Our Bushwhacker friends gave me a great party Sunday - photos from that are coming up. Great-Aunt Barb and Great-Uncle Bob came by right after the party and visited. This was my second time meeting them; the first time was way back more than a week ago at the hospital.

Aunt Barb and me. Dad had a tough time with the camera - came out a little fuzzy. Sorry!

Uncle Bob gave me instructions: Eat and sleep. I've been doing my best.

Baby Rolling Cart

The nice people at my Dad's work chipped in for this really terrific stroller. Dad couldn't remember the word "stroller", so he called it a "baby rolling cart". Now we all call it that!

Thanks to all the folks at KTC for the great gift.

Present from Rona and Jeff

Rona and Jeff sent me this great diaper bag. I bet you thought my dad could never get excited about such a thing! We all think it's cool. Thanks Rona and Jeff!

First full day home

Wow, lot's of activity here on my first full day at home. I made sure Dad was on top of things this morning at 3:00am. He did pretty good. Here are some photos from other highlights.

Mama got a nice call from her buddy Amy in Ohio. Hi Amy!

GranTom wanted a photo of me without all those clothes on. Glad it's warm here today!

Ahhh, home at last!

Whew! What a day! My mama and dad, along with Grandma Barb, brought me home. It sure is great to be here. Made even better since Uncle Paul was able to take the day off and be here to greet me.
