One year ago that I came home!

It was one year ago today that I came home from the hospital. As my dad says, well, a lot has happened! One year ago.

Rainy Farmers Market

My mama and I met my dad after work at the Phinney Ridge Farmers Market. We have gone three times, but this is the first time it rained. It was still fun, but my mama was worried that I was getting wet. I was getting wet, but my dad said it was nothing to worry about.

Little Galileo

I like to drop things. I drop stuff to watch it fall and land. I like to drop my measuring cup, the dough mixer, my lime, and even my silver cup.

My dad says I'm another Galileo. I don't know what that means, but maybe Galileo will come over and drop stuff with me sometime.

Sometimes my mama and dad will pick it up for me, but lately they just shake their head and let it sit there. Sometimes if I stare at it long enough they will pick it up for me.

With my dad

My dad was on his way to work this morning and my mama took our picture.

Brushin'

Dr. Allen said that now that I have teeth I have to learn to brush. My dad says my toothbrush should have a brush on both sides and on both ends. Not a bad idea...

My toothbrush has a turtle on it, naturally.

Crawlin'!

I figured out how to crawl a couple of days ago. It's not that hard really. You just have to want to get somewhere and keep goin'.

I wanted to get under the coffee table. Great toys down there.

Grandma Barb went home

Well, my Grandma Barb had to go back east. I sure will miss her. It was great to have you here Grandma Barb!

On the way to the airport, we stopped by Lighthouse.

Ringin' the Bell

We have a great bell right outside our back door. My dad got it out at a store in Stonington, Maine. My mama says he took at least a half hour to pick it out! Well, he got just the right one.

My dad has me ring the bell every morning on our way out the door.

Cherries at C.H.

At C.H. (cocktail hour) this afternoon, I had my first cherry. I liked it a lot!

Olympic Sculpture Park

Today we visited the Sculpture Park. It's cool, but I liked the gravel best.

Grandma Barb and Grandpa John and me at the Olympic Sculpture Park.

I looked up from the gravel just long enough to let my mama get this picture.

Carpenter Boy

I like playing with my tools that Aunt Barb and Uncle Bob gave me. The hammer is my favorite.

Thank you Aunt Barb and Uncle Bob!

Backyard pool

Summertime is heatin' up here in Seattle. My folks got a pool for the backyard, and today we tried it out.

I like bath time, but I'm not sure about this pool business. Hmmm, just the toes at first, please.

Grandpa John and Grandma Barb were there.

Another birthday, then my mama took a break

My Grandpa John arrived today. It's great to have him here. And since he is here now, we decided to have another birthday for me. Grandma Barb made me a birthday cake.

After cake, my mama left for an evening on the Moreno's houseboat - her first night away since I was born! I know she is worried about my dad, but I'm taking good care of him. Just have a good time, Mama!

My first family birthday cake, with animals!

There she goes. Have a good night, Mama!

Mason visit

Next door neighbor Mason and his mom came to visit. Good to see ya pal!

Fun Summer Sunday

We had a really nice day here. My Grandma Barb took me for a long walk, then my mama took me for a long walk, then my dad, then we ended the day with another walk. Whew! Lot's of walkin'!

Here are some photos from our day.

I like to play with limes before breakfast. This one belongs in the special lime spot.

Hangin' out with Grandma Barb this morning.

Cocktail Hour by the side garden.

Our snap peas did really well this year.

I had my first cracker! They are kinda dry, but I really like them.

After C.H., my mama cleaned up while I played in the playpen.

We went for our evening walk. I like riding in the kidpack! I can see a lot more, and I can feel tree leaves and stuff.

Butterfly bush flower.

Bamboo leaves.

A ha! Caught red-handed! My mama and Grandma Barb swiped strawberries from our neighbor. (Actually, he invited us to take some.)

Cozzie's Corner has video of my birthday party!

My friend Carm has posted some pictures and video from my party on her blog. Thank you Carm! Her site is Cozzie's Corner.

Where is the Green Sheep?

We went to a play today at the Seattle Childrens Museum. It was called Where is the Green Sheep?, based on a book by the same name. It was really great. There were all kinds of sheep in the play. There was red sheep, blue sheep, and up and down sheep. There was band sheep playing instruments, and sun sheep and rain sheep. But we couldn't find the green sheep!

We found him! We found the green sheep! But I won't say where because I don't want to spoil it for anyone else.

Birthday Party

Whew! What a party! I will post more photos tomorrow and add captions too. Thanks to all that came, and to all those who couldn't but sent thoughts my way.

Birthday Boy!

Hi everybody! Today is my one year birthday! My party starts real soon, so I have been taking a nap.

Here are my one-year birthday pictures! More to come!
