Best to keep Samuel well fed so he won't become cranky. Bears can become cranky at times, even the most well behaved ones like Samuel (who I suspect is a Zen bear). Put lots of honey on the pancakes and he'll be in a good mood for a long while. (Does he ever go out to fetch salmon in those hard flowing rivers up there? Just wondering.)
