On Saturday I helped my dad make grilled cheese sandwiches. This was not my first time, I'm an old pro!
Dad shows me how to spread the butter.
I can spread the butter myself.
Put on the cheese.
Its coming together!
My dad puts them on the griddle because the griddle is hot.
Here they come Mama!
Sometimes you gotta wait.
I like to tear it apart before I eat it.
Yummy grilled cheese sandwich!

Greenwood Trick or Treat
We went to the Greenwood Trick or Treat!
Okay, I'm ready to go! This year I went as Tigger.
My Dad had me practice saying Trick or Treat.
Cousin Sean and Jessi were there, and Otis too.
I'm glad my mama was there or I would have been scared.
At Ken's Market.
At the hardware store.
Grandma Barb helps me Trick or Treat the video store.
Now let's go home and eat candy!

Pumkin Hunting 2008
This morning we went to South 47 Farm to get pumpkins.
It was a beautiful day, not like last year!
Compare these two pictures!

Month-Birthday picture - well, not really
We used to take pictures of me with Samuel on the sixth of every month to celebrate my monthly birthdays. We did this until I got too squirmy and couldn't hold still long enough. My mom and dad thought we would try again this month.
At breakfast I showed my dad my ponytail. At school, first one kid got a ponytail, then another, and pretty soon we all wanted a ponytail!
Then it was time to sit in Big Red Chair for my picture. Uh uh. Not gonna happen. This is the only picture that is not blurry. Sorry! I just gotta squirm!
Samuel didn't mind having his picture taken, despite having to put down his book.

Dad's bread
I got mail!
Lately I have become more and more upset by the mail. When the mail drops through the mail slot on the front door it scares me. Well, somehow today I got a special delivery. Like all our mail, the envelope dropped through the mail slot. But this time my folks encouraged me to investigate.
The letter was addressed to me, Elliott.
With my mama's help, I opened the letter. It was from Grandma Barb! A nice letter saying she had a good time on her visit. And there were stickers in there too!
Maybe now I won't be so scared of the mail dropping through the mail slot.

The crib is outta here
Today is a big day for me. I have been sleeping out of the crib for more than a week, and today we moved the crib out of my room!
We took the crib mattress off and placed it on the floor where the crib used to be.
Then my dad said my posters were too high up, so he lowered them for me.
At nap time, I tried out the new arrangement.
