Seattle Aquarium

We went to the Seattle Aquarium this morning. We hadn't planned to, and my dad said that my mama displayed impressive spontaneity. Yay Mama!

Fishes! You can see I'm wearing the crab backpack that Cousin Steve gave me last year.

I liked the sea urchins.

The underwater Dome is cool!

We got a snack and went outside to see the view.

Seattle was having tug boat races on Elliott Bay. The fire boats were spraying their water cannons to celebrate.

Those fire boats are really showing off. I like tug boats myself. They are the mules of the boat world. They are pretty strong. I rode on one named "Big Mikey" one time. They do a lot of pushing and pulling and shoving with their powerful engines. Watching workboats at the waterfront surely does look like some fun. (The spontaneous visit to the aquarium looks like great fun too.)

It was hard to choose, watching the boats or going through the aquarium. So we did some of both! And when we got home I zonked out and took a big nap.
