Fun weekend

We had a busy weekend-took walks, had brunch with friends, worked around the house. Here are some photos.

It's fun hanging out with dad in my room. He likes my cool vest. He says we're "vest people."

Grandma Barb bought me these cool alphabet cards. Of course, T is for turtle!

Yummy applesauce! This food I actually like.

Carrots are more fun to play with than to eat.

We had beautiful weather this weekend, so dad put me in the KidPack. Mama, Dad, of course, Turtle, and I walked to the Lighthouse coffee shop.

We had our PEPS buddies over for brunch on Saturday. It was fun to see everyone again. I guess Miles likes crab, because he sure enjoyed munching on my slippers.

The ladies, Gloria and Sophia, had fun playing with my tummy time mat.

Out and about

Lots of new things going on in my life-new food, a new buddy and a new caretaker. Mama is getting ready to go back to work, so I've been getting to know Emily. My buddy, Sophia, from PEPS, also stays with Emily. I'm afraid it's been a bit of an adjustment. My mom hasn't taken any pictures of me with Emily yet.

They just keep feeding me-last night it was sweet potatoes. Mama says that I'm getting in touch with my southern roots. Tonight it was bananas, but no photos of that yet.

I have a new buddy on the block, but I haven't met him yet. Our crazy neighbors, Ray and Jemae, had a baby boy named Mason. Mama thinks little boys are trouble because Mason has to spend a bit of time in the hospital, just like I did. Mama, Turtle and I brought the stuffed bear for Mason. I understand how a guy needs a buddy in the special care nursery.

Check out the new crab slippers that my mom bought for me. I know Grandma Barb, especially, will like them.

Garden Helper

My mama and I went out to help my dad in the garden today. It was bright and sunny - a really nice day to be outside.

Fun at Co-op with my Dad

My dad went with me and mom to co-op!

Dad carried me to co-op in the KidPack.

Isabelle and I playing with cotton balls

Co-op is fun, but I got tired

Homebrew Helper

My dad stayed home today to play with me. Yay! First we went to the coffeeshop, then I took a nap. Then we went down to check dad's homebrew.

Lookin' good!

Visit from Scott

Our family friend, Scott, visited today. It was very good to meet him. And it was very nice of him to bring the clothing gifts - my mama and dad and I are very appreciative! Thank you Scott!

Applesauce

Tonight I tried applesauce. Well, it's better than the squash, I suppose, but I am still very suspicious about this food business.

After dinner I got a bath. My mama says I look like a convict in these pajamas!

Discovery Park in the kidpack

My folks took me for a walk at Discovery Park today. It was cold, but very bright and sunny.

They took me for a ride in the kidpack, which takes some getting used to.

I'm not sayin' I don't like the kidpack, I'm just sayin' it takes some getting used to.

Fun with Ovibus

I love my muskox, Ovibus. He protects my head from hitting the headboard of my changing table, plus he's funny! Well, as much as a muskox can be funny. Anyway, he cracks me up!

It's cold out!

It's been really cold (the weather station Grandpa John got for us said 26 degrees today) and snowy, so mama bundled me up.

I outgrew my slippers, so my mom put these cool boots on me!

Check out the Winnie-the-Pooh hat I got from our friends, Esther and Frederic.

Picture from coffeeshop

My folks and I stopped by the coffeeshop this morning. My dad got a picture of me on his phone.

We also went to the dr to get my cough checked out-she said I'm fine-no worries, mama. But the exciting news is that I now weigh 16 lbs. 9 oz.

Mid-week bath

Hey, I don't know what's going on around here! I used to get a bath once a week and now it's happening twice a week! What are they trying to tell me???

I get to try eating

Now that I'm 6 months, my parents decided that I should expand my eating horizons. Mama bought some baby food for me. My first food was squash-obviously not my favorite.

GranGlo sent me a rocking chair!

I got a rocking chair for my room! My GranGlo gave me this great rocker. I love it! Thank you GranGlo!

Me in the new rocker

The chair was shipped to my dad's office, and when it arrived it caused quite a stir. My friend Carm took this picture of the chair.

New Hat

I got a new hat from Mr Huff, one of the attorneys at my dad's office. I really like it - thank you Gary!

Six Month Birthday!!

Today, January 6, is my six month birthday! My folks are very excited. And, as on every birthday, per my mama's directive, I had my picture taken in Big Red Chair with Samuel.

Cool stuff going on!

Mom and Dad moved the changing table into my room. Now I have a view while I get changed!

I like pulling my arm down my sleeve. The crayon on my hand is a band-aid; I had to get some bloodwork done today. The bloodwork was to check the iron in my blood. If everything looks good, I won't have to take the yucky vitamins anymore. My mom says I was very brave.

We did feet painting in co-op today!

Fun with dad

It's great to have my dad home. We've had some fun times lately.

Dad gave me a scepter or spatula-whichever.
