Towel-time stackin'

After my bath tonight my mama and dad took me for some Towel Time. They made sure I could reach the coffee table while standing on the towel so I could do some stackin'.

I started with the colored peg boxes, then added the hippos and colored pegs.

Gotta get Red Guy on without knocking down the hippos...

My mama laid down because she didn't want to be in the picture anymore. Silly Mama. So I laid the colored pegs down too.

Perfect.
Yay stackin!

Owie

I was running on the sidewalk and fell down. I got scraped up. I have bumps and bruises and scrapes all over me!

Owie. Luckily my mama was here to fix me up.

Samuel got an owie too.

Ow, it's terrible!

CDC End of Year Party

The Phinney Lutheran Church Child Development Center celebrated the end of the school year with a party tonight. There was a big potluck dinner, then we sang songs, then dessert.

Here are some pictures.

Popsicles

When my dad got home, he found my mama and me having popsicles. It was the only snack I could enjoy since I busted my lip.

Falling down is no fun, but maybe popsicles are the silver lining.

Fathers Day breakfast

Happy Fathers Day, Dad!

First we went to Pete's for breakfast. There were a lot of families there celebrating Dads Day. My mama and I gave Dad a card with gardening tools on it, perfect!

On the walk home I made my shadow go up, down, up, down.

It was a nice walk home.

Then I gave my dad a card I made at school.

Makin' Pizza

I helped make pizza!

First you smooth out the dough.

My mom and I spoon on the sauce and smear it all around.

More mozzarella!

Some spinach...

We put on some ground beef and then my dad put it in the oven.

There it is!

My favorite part!

A tour of the garden

My dad and I check the garden every night when he gets home. Tonight we took pictures. My dad complains about the state of the garden. I guess that's part of the fun.

Oats!

The wheat has stopped getting taller, but now the seeds are getting bigger and bigger.

It's coming right along.

My dad's hops are the envy of the neighborhood. Well, at least he thinks so. Sometimes there are ladybugs on the hops.

My dad was going to skip the lettuce but I insisted. We have gotten lots of salad out of there. I like to help pick it but I don't like to help eat it.

Garlic.

Here is our barley. Looks like tall grass.

Yay barley!

This is our coral bark Japanese maple named Ichiro. My dad told me to look up and smile so I did!

Snap peas. You can see I'm wearing my new monkey sandals. There will be more pictures of those as summer comes along.
