A treat after dinner

My dad says that when little boys eat all their dinner, they get a treat. I did really well tonight so I got chocolate ice cream.

Creepy Blue Mouse got some chocolate ice cream too.

My dad scraped the bowl and said he couldn't get anymore out. All gone, he said. Lemme see that bowl!

Ymmm I like chocolate ice cream.

Yay!

Memorial Day

My GranTom was in the Navy during The War, so we went downtown today to attend a Memorial Day service in his honor. I love you GranTom!

My mama thought it was funny that I was tugging on my dad's ears.

A BUS! A bus! A bus! A bus!

The Garden of Remembrance has pretty waterfalls and gardens.

They gave me a flag. I'm very proud of it.

They gave speeches and a man played a song on his bugle.

My mama taught me to take my hat off at such occasions. It was a nice service and I'm glad we went.

Visit to Green Lake

Green Lake is Seattle's most popular park. There were lots of people there today jogging, playing basketball, swimming, paddling boats, and strolling around the lake. And there were plenty of kids at the playground.

Here I come!

My mama put me on the big boy swing so I could get used to it but I didn't really swing on it.

Let's go see what's over there.

Yay!

Yay!

Yay yay!

The ducks were having a great day at the lake too.

Playing at Mason's house

My family went over to Mason's house to play. We're glad they live right there. Here are some photos. You can see it was a beautiful and warm day in Seattle.

Field trip to the zoo

My class went on a field trip to the zoo! We saw gorillas, birds, giraffes, lions (roar!) and lots more!

At the entrance getting ready.

Cornelia and I held hands.

A giraffe. My dad says that giraffe's say Ahem. That is what they say. Ahem.

Whoa! That giraffe is the real deal!

Mama shows me what to do.

Baseball game!

Beckett and his dad joined me and my dad for a baseball game. We saw the game, watched airplanes fly over, ate animal crackers, and had a good time.

At the game.

A perfect day for baseball in Seattle.

My dad and I at the game.

We played with our baseballs on the way home.

Playing with my train

I like pulling my train around and around the house.

The guys in the train are Creepy Blue Mouse, EuroBear, and Fu Manchu Kitty. I think Uncle Paul gave them their names but I'm not sure about that.

Sprinkler fun

It was a record breaking day here, 90 degrees!

Good day to play in the sprinkler.

Friday night fun

We went to the Greenwood Farmers Market, the first of the season. We got a few things and saw some folks. It was fun!

We bumped into Cousin Sean at the Farmers Market.

After the Market, we went to Red Mill Burgers. Yay, french fries with ketchup!

Of course, you could skip the french fry and just run your finger through the ketchup and eat it that way.

Milkshake, yummmm!

Fun with the camera

After my bath, we were looking at my report card and my dad took a picture. Then I got curious about the camera.

Looking at my report card.

Hey, lemme see that camera!

Ya just push this button, right?

Push the button again!

I helped my dad take this picture of my mama.
