Fruit smoothies!

My mama made fruit smoothies. Thanks mama!

Gardening before the rain

Today wasn't very cold but it was threatening rain. We went outside to do some gardening anyway.

Inspecting the garden.

Walking in the wheat. My dad planted this wheat because he's never seen wheat before. I don't think my dad has a plan for his wheat. You can see I'm carrying a spade-full of dirt from one spot in the garden to another. I've noticed that my dad moves dirt around the garden a lot. Apparently that's what you do.

I think these flowers need water before it rains.

Greenwood Park

It was a beautiful day here in Seattle. Dad was away on a hike, so Mama and I spent the day together.

It was sunny and warm, so Mama put me in these cool shorts.

I'm getting really good at climbing stairs; sometimes I go up sideways.

Saturday pancakes

Welcome Lily!

Todd and Wendy had their baby! Her name is Elizabeth Ann Zboyan but we all call her Lily. My friend Carm posted a nice picture from her visit at the hospital last week on her blog, Cozzie's Corner.

The Zboyan's are home now, and we went for a little visit tonight.

Mama liked holding Lily.

Open House at Fire Station 21

Fire Station 21 had an open house this afternoon. The stormy weather let up for awhile and lots of people came to have a look.

The station has been serving the Phinney Ridge neighborhood for a long time. Click to see a list of Seattle fire stations. If you then click on the little picture for Station 21 you can see a photograph of the original station taken in 1916. Soon they will tear down the current building construct a new, modern Fire Station 21.

Fire Station 21 Open House.

My dad and I inspected the fire truck from every angle.

My mama and I got in the cab of the fire truck. You can see I'm wearing my sock mittens.

Firefighter Joey puts me up in the driver seat!

I wasn't even scared. Thanks Fire Station 21!

Zoomasium with Beckett

Beckett and I went to Zoomasium this morning. Zoomasium is a great destination on such a day - its been rainy and cold, and it even snowed some!

Go Beckett!

Thomas and I negotiate some tricky ground at the Zoomasium.

Cheery Cherry Tree

I love looking out my window. The cherry tree outside is blooming!

Crib time

I like being in my crib. It's my own little place.

Sometimes I read books all by myself.

Photos from Jackson's

We went to Jackson's for breakfast. Jackson's dad took a couple pictures - good ones! Thanks for having us over!

I like Jackson.

After breakfast we all hung out together.

Waiting for my mama

My mama went to see the Dalai Lama speak today. She got a ride home afterward on the bus. My dad and I went to the bus stop to meet her.

Is that the bus?

Nope. Hmmm, sometimes ya just gotta wait.

There she is!

Playing in the dirt

It's a beautiful day here in Seattle. Perfect for digging in the dirt! The day is only half over, but we have accomplished a lot of diggin' already. My dad is posting pictures while I take a nap. Enjoy!

Reading with Dad

This evening when my dad got home, I immediately asked him to read to me. He didn't even have a chance to take his hat and jacket off!

Snack time with Thomas and Samuel

This afternoon I had a snack with Samuel and Thomas.

Hey, you guys hungry?

Ymmm, doesnt that look good?

Here ya go Thomas, have a bite.

Thomas needed a drink of milk too.

Twenty-One Month Birthday photos!

Here are the pictures of me and Samuel on Sunday-my 21st month birthday. These are a little blurry, but that's the best my folks could get.

Stackin'

I can put my hat on by myself. Sometimes, I like wearing 2 hats. Two is better than one I suppose.
