Kaiam's Birthday

I went to Kaiam's First Birthday Party. It was great. There was good food, a cool cat, and I got to play with Kaiam.

Colored pegs

As you know, I like colored pegs. My mama got me this set of pegs, which I like to take out of their tray and toss them on the floor. It's fun!

Meeting Milotis

Hi there everyone. I wanted to tell you about the big news. Sean and Jessie got a dog! And I can visit as much as I want. They haven't picked a name yet, but they are considering Milo or Otis. So for now we are calling him Milotis.

Meeting Milotis.

Milotis was very excited.

He liked Green Guy as much as I do!

We played on the floor. Yay Milotis!

Cool Box

Grandpa John sent us some fancy cookware, which my mama and dad seemed to think was great. All I cared about was the box. Thanks for the box Grandpa John!

Mason and his mama

On our way home from Trick or Treat we bumped into Mason and his mama. It was fun to stop and chat.

Greenwood Ave Trick or Treat!

Greenwood Avenue businesses have a big Halloween trick or treat celebration every year. There is always lots of kids! I dressed up as a pumpkin.

It was chilly at first but warmed up quickly.

Pumpkin Hunting!

Today we went pumpkin hunting. My dad says you have to sneak up on them, otherwise they will get away. I think he's just funny, but I go along.

The farm we chose to visit is called the South 47 Farm, and it's very beautiful. The place was packed with families in spite of the weather.

In our rain jackets.

Farmer Elliott.

They have a growth chart, so I guess they want us to come back year after year. My dad said this place is a well-oiled machine.

Jackie and I got a snack together. I like Jackie!

Okay, now let's go pumpkin huntin'!

Looking for just the right one.

This is the one!

My mama and dad picked one from the field. My dad said the ones out there are still wild.

Here we see Jackie's pumpkin, mine, my dad's, and my mama's. All four of us caught one!

That was fun! Off we go, taking our prizes home.

Drummin' in the tub

I took my drumstick in the tub with me. No problem, said my mama. She said Cousin Sean probably does that all time.

Thanks for the drumsticks, Cousin Sean!

Dinner with the Yardley's

The Yardley family from across the street came for dinner. It was great to have you. Ya'll come back now, ya hear?

My mama made her famous spaghetti sauce. And the girls made cookies. Yummy!

Clockwise: Me and my mama, Luisa, Mr Yardley, Jack Dee, Mrs Yardley, and Clara. My dad took the picture.

Clara fed me. Here comes the airplane!

On the phone with GranTom and GranGlo

We called GranTom and GrandGlo on the phone today. It was great to talk to you!

On the phone with my grandparents.

Installing sod

Today we installed sod in the front yard. Todd came over to help. I was supervisor.

Ready to do man stuff!

Todd rakes the ground flat. My dad prepped it last week with compost.

Todd uses the special sod cutting knife to get the pieces just right.

I made sure the dirt in the garden was okay.

My dad and Todd bring in another roll of sod from the truck.

While supervising my dad and Todd, I explored the garden.

I had Todd and my dad stand on planks so they wouldn't mess up the new grass.

While my dad made us a pizza for lunch, Todd taught me to put my hippo on my head.

Hey, I have a hippo on my head!

Yay! Let's play on it! Thanks Todd!
