Out and about

Lots of new things going on in my life-new food, a new buddy and a new caretaker. Mama is getting ready to go back to work, so I've been getting to know Emily. My buddy, Sophia, from PEPS, also stays with Emily. I'm afraid it's been a bit of an adjustment. My mom hasn't taken any pictures of me with Emily yet.

They just keep feeding me-last night it was sweet potatoes. Mama says that I'm getting in touch with my southern roots. Tonight it was bananas, but no photos of that yet.

I have a new buddy on the block, but I haven't met him yet. Our crazy neighbors, Ray and Jemae, had a baby boy named Mason. Mama thinks little boys are trouble because Mason has to spend a bit of time in the hospital, just like I did. Mama, Turtle and I brought the stuffed bear for Mason. I understand how a guy needs a buddy in the special care nursery.

Check out the new crab slippers that my mom bought for me. I know Grandma Barb, especially, will like them.

I sure do like those slippers but don't let the crabs pinch your toes. I also like the blue hat--it really covers your ears.
Love,
Grandma Barb

What a busy boy you've been lately! We're happy to see that you are enjoying southern cuisine. If the sweet potatoes are good, just wait until they bring out the turnip greens! We're sorry to hear that Mason is still in the hospital, but he'll surely perk up when when he sees his new companion. Teddy Bears are forever.
