I like to sit in front of the fire and have my mama read to me. Here she is reading Five Little Ladybugs, one of my favorites.

That looks like some warm fun reading beside the fire. I have not read the ladybug book, but I bet it is a good read. Maybe I can find it at my neighborhood library. I like 'Cat In The Hat' and his sidekick Horton the elephant. Those books are fun to read. If you get a chance, check them out.
I tried the Cat In The Hat book once, and I liked the pictures, but it was a little long for me. Maybe in a couple of years I will like it more. My mama got three pages in and I got all squirmy.
The ladybug book is really good. Its about these five ladybugs. Each one disappears and you think it might be bad but they all return in the end. Oh, thank goodness. I like a happy ending.
You know, speaking of ladybugs, one time I was on a ship and we were way out to sea. I was outside on deck when all of a sudden a swarm of ladybugs came upon the ship and started landing on the deck. There must have been thousands of them. They were all over, little red and black dots everywhere. I have no idea what they were doing out there, or why they were there, and it remains a mystery to me to this day. Now that's a true story about ladybugs. Perhaps they were just on the move and got lost and were tired of flying and needed a rest and a ride back to port. That's probably it.
