Grandma Barb is here!

My Grandma Barb is here for a visit. Yay!

She likes my spoon technique when eating oatmeal. Hold spoon in right hand, and reach in with left hand to eat. Simple!

My mama got me my own watering can. It's nice!

My mama helped me at first.

I'm really getting the hang of it!

Philip Smith art glass

My folks got Philip Smith art glass for the front foyer a few years ago. Wow, the spring time afternoon sun really lights it up!

Afternoon in the schoolyard

My dad came to pick me up from school today. We were playing outside when he arrived.

Hi Dad. I suppose you're here to pick me up.

Sheppard.

My buddy Col. Col was out last week. Glad you're back Col!

Visit with Beckett

Beckett and I got together at the Pancake House. Afterward we went up the street to Swansons Nursery.

We liked the fish pond at the cafe.

I want that one!

Beckett and his dad, and me and my mama.

They have lots of cool fountains.

Beckett found a toy tractor.

New boots... and two new words!

My mama got me some gardening boots today. And I learned the word boots too.

I love my new gardening boots.

I learned another word today too. Dirt! Dirt is a good word. It sounds like what it is!

Thanks for my new gardening boots Mama!

Hanging out with my dad

My mama had an appointment so my dad and I spent the morning together.

Lighthouse received a fresh shipment of coffee yesterday. My dad says its okay to play with the beans, but they can't be mixed or spilled on the floor.

Samuel likes the beans too.

We went to the Fishermans Terminal to see fishing boats. There are lots of them! And ducks too. Then we went to the Bay Cafe for English muffin with strawberry jam and milk.

We visited the Fisherman's Memorial.

This kid liked splashing through the puddle, but I didn't want to try it.

Dipping pancakes?

I bet you didn't know that you could dip pancakes in your milk.

Well, Samuel and I do it all the time!

A host of golden daffodils

Mason's mama and dad, Jemae and Ray, planted lots and lots of daffodils. My dad says they're bustin' out all over! Er, that means they are blooming in profusion. Dad speaks in that manner sometimes.

My GranGlo told me of the famous poem by Wordsworth, The Daffodils.
A poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company:
I gazed - and gazed - but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:

For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.

These are certainly nice daffodils!

La-te-da, off I go to look at more flowers.

Nice ones!

A jee-it! A jet flew over the neighborhood, and I never fail to point out a jet.

You can see our cherry tree has flowers too. Hmmm, I guess it's bustin' out all over!

The artist at work

This afternoon I created some free form block art on the table. My GranTom and GranGlo sent me this shirt. My folks say it's fancy. It is pretty fancy. Thanks for the nice shirt!

Judy is a great stacker!

My dad's friend Judy visited today. We had hot cocoa and did some stackin' together.

Judy was a great help to me and Samuel.

She kept going and going!

Wow! We just knew it would fall! And, well, it did. Thanks for visiting Judy!

Twenty month birthday pictures

Here are my twenty month birthday pictures. My dad fussed because I wouldn't hold still. Well, what do you expect Pops?

I love Thomas the Tank Engine.

You can see I'm wearing my crab shirt. I showed it off to all my friends all day.

Samuel likes pancakes

My bear Samuel gets so hungry, and he likes pancakes as much as I do!

After breakfast I was ready to go to school. C'mon Dad, let's go!

Visit to Camryn and Dustin

We went to visit the Hines family in Port Townsend. Yay!

Port Townsend is not far, but you have to cross Puget Sound on the Edmonds ferry.

On the ferry from Edmonds to Kingston.

We went for a walk near the Hines' house.

Camryn blew bubbles!

My dad liked playing with Dustin.

I played with the Elmo Chair while Dustin sat with his mama. Sorry for the blurry photos!

Camryn's dad made us french toast!

We visited Fort Warden State Park. There are big grassy areas, picnic tables, and a beach.
