I had to stay home from school today because I have stomach bug. I'm barfing a lot. Plus I'm all sniffly with a runny nose. It's going around, they say, and it's no fun.
Grandma Barb is here. She arrived yesterday. My mom and dad say she's cool, but I am suspicious. Perhaps I'll warm up to her.
Oh well, hopefully better tomorrow.

Oh, and you can trust mom and dad about Grandma Barb. She's very cool!

Hey, Elliott----What a shame to be sick just when your Grandma Barb has come to visit! Just take your medication and get lots of rest and you'll be well before you know it. (At least that's what they always told me.) I know you hate to miss school, but these bugs don't last long. You'll be back with your little playmates before you knowit.
