First, sit in the dirt. This will get your mind, body and spirit prepared. Well, mostly, it's just fun.
Decide where you want the flowers to be in springtime. Here's the spot! Right here by the new house sign.
Scrape away the garden bark, then dig a hole and put the bulbs in there.
Cover the bulbs with dirt. Then you cover yourself with dirt. Don't forget this step!
Give them a drink. This is a great excuse to use the watering can. As you know, I'm a fan of the can.
Now cover the spot with bark and we're all done. That was fun! Come back tomorrow and I'll show you how to install sod.
